The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency personnel have started patching the perforated sheet pile walls of Kali Mookervart River in five urban villages.
It has been ongoing since a week and is targeted to be complete in the upcoming April
Drainage Maintenance Division Head Wawan Kurniawan disclosed, those five urban villages were Kedoya Utara Urban Village (Kebon Jeruk), Rawa Buaya Urban Village (Cengkareng), Kedaung Kali Angke Urban Village (Cengkareng), Wijaya Kusuma Urban Village (Grogol Petamburan) and Jelambar Baru Urban Village (Grogol Petamburan).
"It has been ongoing since a week and is targeted to be complete in the upcoming April," he expressed, Friday (3/19).
Nine Cubic Waste Transported from Mookervart RiverBased on the temporary data, around 112 points of sheet piles were in perforated or leaking conditions. To repair it, as many as 100 personnel had been alerted to the location.
"Hopefully the river can optimally accommodate the water in large quantities in order to minimize flooding," he hoped.
